About Salsalito

Set on the south western Algarve, Salsalito is a visual paradise, a sanctuary....
Salsalito has been been lovingly designed and built by Ralph and Sally Eveleigh.
Attention to detail, focussed on quality, are the reasons for Salsalito's success (check lauded reviews on trip advisor).
Their goal is to constantly improve on quality.
A stay in either the main rooms or garden room, is a chic alternative to accommodation in a 5 star Hotel.

Ralph, was born in Devon,Sidmouth, he very sadly passed away in 2019.
A tool engineer by trade, he had lived in Portugal for over 50 years, and was in partnership with the Beach Bar and Smugglers bar in Burgau.
Sally born in Sussex, was brought up in the South of France.
In the 70's Sally worked with Bill Gibb, the famous Scottish fashion designer and ran his shop in London's New Bond Street.
In 79, she moved to the Algarve, helped run the Beach Bar, taught water skiing with Ralph and designed and ran Smugglers bar till the late 80's.
She then went onto running her own Fashion Boutique for 20 years in Praia da luz, organising Charity Fashion shows all along the Algarve.

There are transport companies from Faro airport, they are cheaper than a Taxi but, take a bit longer, dropping people off to other resorts along the way.
Located next to the natural park, there are many beautiful walks.
To the east is Praia da Luz and to the west is the fishing village of Salema .
Clifftop walks can be taken in either direction with breathtaking scenery with wonderful flora and fauna.
